Tempted though I was to go with Ghouls Aloud I think the honour of gig of the day has to go to Idlewild playing tonight at Koko. Seen as it’s promoting their greatest hits, this should be an utter belter. If only I had any spare cash, or a ticket…I’d be there!

So that’s 23 games unbeaten stretching back into last season with Fabregas shovelling in ten goals so far this season. I think that although a draw was a fair result, it is also true that only one team ever looked like winning the game and that was Arsenal.

I think the essence of Englishness must be to lose, uncontrollably. Whilst there was an air of inevitability about the Rugby defeat to a better side, the Formula One with young Mr Hamilton was in the bag. Surely?
